The Quebec Health Ministry has begun to roll out changes it hopes will significantly improve the province’s healthcare system. Similar changes are occurring throughout Canada, the U.S. and Western Europe. In this regard, Quebec is in fact a little late to the table. While these changes may be overdue, they nevertheless present the hospital with significant challenges.
